I have had the privilege of taking on a leading role in the creative direction behind Action for Boston Community Development's (ABCD) annual Community Heroes Celebration, a multifaceted project that spotlights the selfless endeavors of community volunteers across Boston's diverse neighborhoods. This grand event, which attracts 800 to 1,000 attendees, including politicians, industry leaders, community organizations, and ACBD staff, undergoes a visual transformation each year, reflecting the evolving spirit of our community's service.

My role in this endeavor is comprehensive, encompassing concept development, photography coordination for volunteer marketing collateral, and the design of invitations and advertisements for various social platforms and local publications. I also have a pivotal role in the extensive event planning and serve as a key member of the Gala Committee, which oversees the entire celebration.

Notable speakers and entertainment luminaries, such as En Vogue, Lawrence O'Donnell, Representative Justin J. Pearson, The Roots, Leslie Odom Jr., and Audra McDonald, have graced the event, adding to its prestige and emphasizing the significance of community service and the impact of our volunteers. This project exemplifies my ability to manage complex, multifaceted initiatives from inception to realization and underscores my dedication to creating meaningful and impactful experiences.
